After we finished milling every one of the wooden logs, and creating the concrete bases – we started the Pavilion’s assembly process using all the individual parts. The first phase in this process was connecting between the wooden logs to create the four halves of the arcs. These halves were raised and fixed separately to the concrete bases and were then pieced together to create the two complete arcs. After we had finished, we connected the wooden bases of each side of the arcs to the concrete bases. Using scaffolding connected between the arcs, and with pulleys and ropes, we slowly raised each of the arcs. After all the arcs were finished and placed with the concrete bases, we started connecting the planks until we arrived at the final result.
